Edwards was awarded a contract supporting the Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI). STScI supports advanced astronomy agendas and conducts world-class scientific research, including the Hubble Space Telescope program and the science/mission critical processes for the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST).
STScI is the Science and Operations Center (S&OC) for JWST and requires NASA approved Earned Value Management (EVM) Cost Performance Reporting (CPR) to support new EVM system needs. Edwards will serve as their partner to design and implement EVM CPR processes/requirements for the JWST program, which includes effective project management planning, resource and cost control, standardization of practices/procedures, and process improvement.
“We’re excited to begin working with such an esteemed customer, improving upon their already mature processes,” said President and CEO Gina Abate.
